High School Career
Hunter Sibley attended Millville Senior High School in New Jersey, the alma mater of MLB superstar Mike Trout. While at Millville, he was honored with Trout’s retired #1 jersey and served as captain of the varsity baseball team. Sibley was named 1st team all Cape Atlantic league as well as ranked the 14th-best shortstop in New Jersey for the Class of 2018 by Perfect Game. He also earned recognition as a 2017 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American Honorable Mention.
College Career
Iona College (Division I – New Rochelle, NY)
Sibley began his collegiate career at Iona College, where he made an immediate impact as a freshman:
• Named to the All-MAAC Rookie Team
• Featured by D1Baseball.com as a Top Future Prospect in his draft class
• Recorded a standout performance on May 6th vs. Quinnipiac, striking out 9 batters in 6 innings—the most by an Iona pitcher in a six-inning start since 2004
His freshman season was ultimately cut short by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coastal Carolina University (Division I – Conway, SC)
Sibley transferred to Coastal Carolina, a perennial top-25 program in Division I baseball. Though used in a limited bullpen role, he made notable contributions:
• Appeared in 6 games, posting a 2.45 ERA
• Earned Head Coach Gary Gilmore’s 1,000th career win
• Picked up his first CCU victory against Texas State

Seeking increased playing time and a larger role, Sibley completed his college career at Arcadia University, where he became a crucial part of the team’s success:
• Contributed to two conference championship seasons, including a 40–9 team overall record
• Delivered a signature performance with 7.0 shutout innings and 9 strikeouts against Misericordia University
